Dr. Demi Kazanis has been serving the dental community for over ten years. She received her degrees from of The University of Michigan and The University of Detroit-Mercy Dental School where she received numerous awards for academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Kazanis has completed extensive training in cosmetic dentistry as well as holding a teaching position at the University of Detroit-Mercy Dental School. She has completed a dental psychology externship and specializes in helping fearful patients. Through a variety a methods best suited for each patient, Dr. Kazanis can help you overcome your anxieties. Techniques include in office medical sedation, hypnosis, noise reduction techniques, auditory and visual distraction and many more advances. Dr. Kazanis has completed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education, particularly in the area of cosmetics. She completed a forensic dental externship and enjoys serving on the Michigan Dental Forensic Identification Team. She is a proud member of the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kazanis and her husband, Joe enjoy foreign travel, gardening and snow skiing. They are the proud parents of 2 year old twin daughters.
